I just watched a movie that appears to be a love letter to old slasher movies, but in truth is an adaptation of a book that is the actual love letter to slasher movies. Or maybe it’s both. Either way, I read this book. And its two sequels (all three by author Adam Cesare) – so how could I not watch this movie
This was the first time I rented a movie through Plex, and although there were no subtitles (for when I need to go back and find out what some character just said) it was fine other than that.
This movie was exactly what I hoped it would be. A fun pretty good adaptation to a fun book that I enjoyed – and I think they nailed it with the casting of the main character.
