The A Nightmare On Elm Street Franchise

In 1984, Wes Craven wrote and directed the original “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” Little did he know at the time that this would be the launching point to a cinematic franchise consisting of 9 movies, including a remake and a crossover, a television show, video game, and a pop culture icon in one Freddy Krueger. Over the next few months, SLASH will be watching all of the Elm Street movies and our host, Mike from Geek Mentality, also known as me, will be talking about the movies. Some he’s seen countless times. Some he hasn’t seen in years. But all of them remind him that whatever you do – don’t fall asleep.
