Remember when seeing Dinosaur’s in a movie was breathtaking? Decades go by, visual effects get better, and sequels and reboots keep those dinosaurs coming – but nothing can come close to the magic of the original. That being said, I have watched every Jurassic World movie as part of Movie Month, and enjoy them each to varying degrees.
This one? Well, it happened. I enjoyed some of characters, liked most of the actors, and thought the dinos were cool enough. There were some good action set pieces, some cool shots, and some moments that made me smile (though they were probably looking for a laugh.)
Not to spoil the podcast, but there was a B-story with a family that I found both dumb and annoying. And the father of this family should lose any custody or visitation rights he has to his children. He was the true villain on this movie.
