On April 18, 1938, 75 years ago today, the first issue of “Action Comics” was released with showing a caped man, dressed in blue and red, holding up a car with his bare hands.
That first appearance of Superman changed the world of literature, not just comics, and pop culture forever.
And in his 75th year I – a self-professed lover of Superman – think he may have one of his brightest moments in the sun yet.
Because Zack Snyer’s Man of Steel looks amazing.
So Happy Birthday Superman. Happy Birthday Kal-El. Happy Birthday Clark. See you in the theaters on June 14, 2013.
